EuroEnergy announces new COO

EuroEnergy announces the appointment of William Vikatos as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), starting April 3, 2023.

Based in Athens headquarters, William will oversee the company’s operational processes, projects’ development, and its overall growth, and manage a team of high-performing professionals.

With 26 years of experience in engineering and a Ph.D. in Turbomachinery Aerodynamics, William is a veteran in the energy field with a proven track record. Started building his international background in 1998 in Connecticut, USA as a Senior Engineer, followed by a variety of management roles at multinational companies working in Greece, Cyprus, Albania, and Israel, among others. His career in Greece started in 2002 when he joined GE Wind Energy as a Commercial Manager for Southeast Europe.

Before becoming a member of the EuroEnergy team, William had undertaken many leading positions in the energy sector, including CEO at Siemens Wind Power and Managing Director in Bulgaria, Israel, and other Southeastern European countries at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy.
