EuroEnergy announces the acquisition of a wind park portfolio in Greece

EuroEnergy has announced the acquisition of a portfolio of two operating wind parks in Greece, totalling 42MW combined capacity.

“The acquisition of operating wind assets is firmly establishing EuroEnergy in the wind market and deepens our company’s capacity and expertise in the sector”, stated Christos Reveliotis, CEO. “EuroEnergy has now firmly met its strategic objective of developing operational and development expertise and assets across the three key strategic renewable energy sectors of wind, solar and biogas and across different geographies. This is a valuable and rare combination in the renewable energy market and will allow us to grow by offering the ability to tap across a range of different opportunities as they present themselves.”

EuroEnergy has also a significant pipeline of wind licenses in Greece which are at an advanced licensing stage and is actively seeking to enhance it further with new projects.

With an active presence in the country since 2008, EuroEnergy has established a portfolio of wind and solar operating assets and a strong local management team with deep knowledge of the local renewables industry and excellent hands-on capabilities in developing and operating wind and solar assets.
