EuroEnergy acquires 39MW of wind licenses in Viotia

27 Feb 2017

Following its last announcement, EuroEnergy continues to grow its presence in the Greek market by announcing a further acquisition of wind-licensed projects totalling 39MW.

The projects are located in Viotia and are at an advanced development stage.

Their addition complements the recent expansion of the current EuroEnergy wind portfolio in Evoia by further expanding its geographical footprint, this time in Sterea Ellada. They are the first addition of wind projects for EuroEnergy in Sterea Ellada and EuroEnergy is seeking to build on this addition by acquiring further projects there to strengthen its local critical mass.

Furthermore, the projects complement EuroEnergy’s solar assets in Viotia and deepen its presence in the prefecture.

EuroEnergy is committed to increasing its presence and investments in the Greek Renewable energy market and contributing to the growth of the Greek economy.

With an active presence in the country since 2008, EuroEnergy has established a portfolio of wind and solar operating assets and a strong local management team with deep knowledge of the local renewables industry and excellent hands-on capabilities in developing and operating wind and solar assets.

EuroEnergy is also active in the Asset Management sector, providing professional asset management services to other 3rd party players in the Greek renewable energy market.
