25 Apr 2018

EuroEnergy has completed the sale of a portfolio of fully operational managed photovoltaic assets in Greece to SUMEC Clean Energy International. The transaction, valued at €240m, involved the aggregated sale of 57 individual PV projects geographically distributed across Greece and with a total installed capacity of 56.7MW.

EuroEnergy managed the assets and undertook complete transaction management for these projects prior to the completion of the deal, including full operational and technical support. During that period, the projects’ Availability and Performance Ratio far exceeded the acknowledged industry standards for installations of their type and size.

EuroEnergy’s first renewable energy investment in Greece came in 2008 and since then it has established a portfolio of wind and solar operating assets and a strong local management team with deep knowledge of the local renewables industry and excellent hands-on capabilities in developing and operating wind and solar assets.

The company seeks to expand its current operating asset base and its licensing portfolio in the Greek wind and solar market in the near future, as it is committed to continue its presence and investments in the Greek Renewable energy market and contribute to the growth of the Greek economy.
